The (SEMI) is for semi-taper. Let me explain. What I have come to realize is that I have done a good thing. I have stopped using my demon, hydro. Its been almost 2 full days without any hydro. Sadistically saying, I sure wish that I was in full withdrawal right now, but that is where the SEMI comes in. (sorry to repeat for some). I had surgery last week (bad timing) and was given darvocet for the pain. I really wasnt using it at all because advil and the hydro (last of taper) helped the pain. But now that I am done and still in mild pain, and still have to WORK ALL WEEK. I am going to use the darvocet at night to help with the WD's and slowly taper off that too. My wife has full control over that just like the hydro. I hate to do it this way but it was just BAD planning on my part and anyone out there that has gone CT or just ended hydro use knows that the first 3-4 days are horrible and you can not really even fake functioning. Thanks for listening. I am still trying to figure this out. The good thing is that I dont like the Darvocet at all, never have. I was looking back -WAY BACK under my old post name (meddguy) and I actually posted about that in 2003. WOW. what a crazy road it has been. Full circle --1997-2007 --cancer -to - breaking the habit.
