I am not sure if this is where i should be posting this here or not but here goes..
when i was in the hospital with my twins and they did the ultra sound they said that i had a rather large fibroid. they were focused on other things and just left it at that. i have very bad cramps during my pd and very heavy bleeding. i am stuck on the couch for the first two days at least with pains that put me in tears. i know nothing about fibroids but i have been doing some research on the internent and from what i understand they should be taken out if they cause problems? also one site said that larger ones could cause complications with pregnancy... could this be why i lost my twins? any info would be appreciated. thanks guys!

the women in my family have a hisotry of fibroids, most of them harmless, but painful ever so often. My mother caried my brother witha fibroid, that almost outgrew him, she was on bed rest and he was a healthy 6 lbs. the fibroid shrunk back down. On the other had my aunt had the same problen, she had to have a partial hysterectomy. I would contimue to research but most importantly find a gyn, who may specialize in fibroids to tend to your care and treatment, because as I mentioned they can be harmless, but no all of the time.
