I've been prescribed 6 weeks of Nasonex, a nasal spray with a corticosteroid, for some sort of chronic rhinitis that is causing frequent throat clearing and globus sensation.
I was on this for 2 weeks when I took 2 Nytol sleeping tablets. As I tried to sleep in dark room I noticed quite intense phosphenes - specifically it looked as though someone was turning a light off and on very quickly at all peripheries of my vision. I could even see it when I had my eyes open in a fairly dark room.
The thing seemed to last for about an hour before it went away and I was told I'd had a migraine. No headache at all, and I've never experienced it before or since.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
