Well I had my LEEP a week and a half ago. NOT THAT BAD AT ALL. All of the stories on here scared me to death. I must say the only time I had really bad pain was cramps when I woke up. After that I just kind of had intermittent period type cramps. Anyway, I was just wondering how long most of you bled for afterwards. Everything online says 3-7 days. It has been longer than that for me. I am not having a ton of blood but enough to still have to wear a pad as a pantyliner won't cover it. I just wanted to make sure this is normal. I just want to make sure I am healing properly since we are starting our next round of IVF in two weeks. Thanks for the advise.

PS. for all of you who are worried about LEEPs and biopsies afterward, with the colposcopy I was told CIN-II-III. The LEEP biopsy came back with clear margins and ONLY CIN-I AMAZING!

glad to hear you found the Leep ok. The reason I found it so awful was because in the UK you have the procedure done awake....NEVER again!!!

I bled for 3 weeks which my doctor said was normal. He told me anything up to 6 weeks is normal as long as you are not bleeding continuosly heavy,
I did have a week where I was really heavy then it eased off thank god.

I have my follow up apointment soon so wish me luck.

I had kinda like brown discharge (like towards the end of your period) for a few days and then clear discharge for 4 wks. Thankfully, I did not experience any problems. I was back at the gym within a wk!
