So, I got my results back from my follow-up pap today. History - pap in July came back severe dysplasia, follow-up colposcopy and biopsy showed nothing wrong. And my follow-up pap was completely normal too! And she said I tested negative for HPV. Its really so confusing though, since my first pap was so severe and so close to cancer. My new dr said its absolutely impossible that my body cleared severe dysplasia on its own in a few months. She is thinking maybe they gave me someone else's slide the first time - how SCARY is that? then some other woman thinks her pap is normal buts its really severe. I feel so relieved, but part of me is still worried something is wrong. the tests are so contradictory!
