View Full Version : silver bunionectomy

Has anyone out there had a silver bunionectomy? Apparently this is where the bony protuberance is shaved, and a tendon is released. I had one back in February, and since then I have had significant pain and deformity in my foot. My big toe sticks up in the air, and it now overlaps my second toe! I went back to the doctor who performed the surgery and he said that the deformity and pain was normal, and to call him if I have any more problems. I made an appointment with a new doctor, so hopefully he will help me. Has anyone had a similar experience?
