Hi Everyone,

I was on this fourm a few months back (May though July I believe). My periods are usually pretty regular, give a couple days either side. My cycles are around 28-32 days. In July, I ended up being 14 days late (CD 46), and got two BFN tests. My period came, and that is a main reason I'm waiting so long to test now!

I am currently almost 3 weeks late. My last period was Sept 21. I have had sore BBs from the day my period was expected. This week they have almost had a slight burning, itchy sensation at times (not extreme, but noticeable) and my nipples seem to never go completely down even when they should (sorry TMI).

I've also noticed my gums bleeding when I brush my teeth from around Oct 25 onward.

I haven't felt any sickness really, I am slightly more tired and irritable than usual, but I could pin that on my recent trip (although it was very relaxing and non stressful, so I don't think it would cause this!) Do you think my week away could have postponed my period for a week?

By my calculations, I would be almost 7 weeks along, shouldn't I feel more than this? I know I should just go take a test, but I don't want to see that BFN that occurred last time......

I need some currage to do this! or should I wait until next week? I'm taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid already, so putting off finding out isn't putting that behind. I don't know why I just cannot bring myself to test!

Hi Irishblessings

I remember you. The signs look promising and I really hope you get your BFP. I know what you mean when your too scared to take the test as when you see that dreaded BFN it kinda crushes that glimmer of hope. My niece didnt get any symptoms until she was 12wks with her 1st baby and no symptoms at all with her 2nd baby so dont worry too much about not feeling sick. I think you should test ASAP. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Cash, I remember you as well. How are things going?

I'm going to test today. Last night at work, I was so embarrassed. I was in the middle of a conversation and I had to cover my mouth and run to the bathroom to throw up.....I guess I can add that to my symptoms..... I'll post the test results once I take them!;) I'm nervous, but pretty sure what the result will be lol.

I just took it! BFP!!!!!

It freaked me out at first, as only one line showed up immediately. I was like "How can this possibly be right??" but the second line came pretty quickly. Then I realized the first line was the "pregnant" line and the second one was the to say it worked.

I was really nervous, but SO happy right now!! :) :)

Irish Im so happy for you congratulations. Have you made appt with your GP yet? You must be about 7wks by now if AF was 3wks late. YAY. I really hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. I will hopefully be starting IVF with ICSI in Jan so fingers crossed I will be posting my BFP in FEB. Wishing you all the best.
