My dad had an ultrasound done and the results showed a shadow in his bladder. He has to have a scope put in his penis to see what this shadow is. The doctor said he had time to do it right then and there but my dad didn't want it done because the last time he had it done (I think they were checking his prostate), it hurt. So the doctor gave him a valium to take a hour or so before his appointment next month to have this done. The doctor thinks this shadow might be his enlarged prostate pressing against his bladder. But he also said it could be a tumor. The bloodwork came back good. I'm nervous and hope that this shadow is nothing. Wouldn't the white cells be off if it was cancer? Any suggestions?
