Does anyone know if I can sue MID (Medical Information Bureau) for information they have on file on me that is not correct? I keep getting denied medical insurance because of this. I had elevated liver enzymes in 2003. Doctor did tests and said it was a fatty liver. No disease of the liver. He called it an innocent condition. I got a letter from him and another doctor saying my liver was normal. My liver enzymes have been in the normal range for 4 years now. Yet according to MID, a fatty liver is considered a liver disease and they won't remove the info. Thus I can never get a good medical plan because of this. I've been turned down by 4 insurance companies already. Any ideas on what I can do? I live in Illinois and MID is the Boston Mass. area.
