Hi Everyone,
I need a new straightener and I would like one that has ionic, ceramic and tourmaline with it. I have seen the bed head pink one which has the specifications and is cheapish $70 but I cannot find any reviews on it. Has anyone tried it please? I do not like GHD's and I have heard Chi's are good but they are very expensive. I would not like to spend over $99! Any input would be great please!
Thanks

I was also wondering about the Bed Head tools.. I was interested in the curling iron, so if anybody knows about them, please let us know what you think.
I also use the Chi... my brother (yes, my brother haha) actually bought a brand new one on a popular bidding website for about $80 and was very happy with it. He bought one from Sharper Image and returned it to get the Chi because he said it just wasn't as good.
Other than the Chi, another that I like would be those ones they sell in stands at the mall. They are all ceramic and seem to work pretty well... the salespeople usually will give you a deal. I think they offered $60 for the price to me... but maybe you can even get them to go lower than that. They also are good for curling your hair too... I try to do those curls with the Chi but it seems to take me forever so I just curl it with an iron!

I got a new pink Chi from "our favorite bidding site". *wink* There were alot of them. I was able to "buy it now" and not bother with bidding. It was around 35.00. I love it!

wow! $35 for a chi - that is awesome! Even at cost (my cousin owns a salon) it was $79 - and CHI is based out of Houston - you would THINK we could get it cheaper! Of course the owner just appeared on our local news and he said he's worth 3 billion with the CHI and Biosilk! Amazing story really - he was an immigrant who came to Houston back in the '80s and started out as a hairstylist.
I LOVEEEEEE the CHI and couldn't go without it! I think it's so great b/c the temp is so much higher than the lower brands.

I bought the bedhead curling iron (1 1/2" barrel) on sale at target the other day and it works fine. I tend to go thru curling irons like crazy. Really haven't noticed a difference from other ones I've tried. It can be set for up to 425 degrees. I also noticed that they had Chi flat irons there, too. I'd picked up a different flat iron at sally's for $50 and HATE it -- the end of the iron always manages to snag and yank out some of my hair -- there's a seam in the molded plastic. I'd also bought a cheapy wet/dry vidall sassoon flat iron there years ago and it really didn't work -- so I'm a bit gunshy about flat irons. Haven't had much luck with them, so not sure if it's worth it for me to make such a major purchase - maybe it's just ME and not the iron.
So I stick to larger curling irons and straighten my hair by curling the top layers under. :)
