We've been ttc concieve our secong child for the past 5 months. Ironically, I'm kind of worried that I might be pregnant this month because we've been renovating the house and doing a whole lot of painting and gluing with all sorts of lovely toxic things. I just don't expect to ever get pregnant so I don't think about these things in advance.
And then something different this month: I took a (cheap) pregnancy test (they sell them for a buck at the dollar store!) and it came out negative but then I looked at it a few hours later and MIGHT have seen a faint positive line, though it might just have been something else and now I'm all worried.
AHHHHHHR!
Should I be worried?

Well I will offer congratulations first! I hope you see your second line again!

Mmmm.. well sound like you should see you ob/gyn and ask. If you decide to go and talk about possible exposures, it would likely be helpful to write done all the things you were exposed to... maybe even bring the bottles with you... and don't forget any exposure to old paint... scraping, dust etc..

Good luck,

Have you missed your period yet? I think a lot of times if a line shows on a test more than 10 minutes after you take it you can't count on its validity. It is probably an evap line. Go to peeonastick.com to see what these look like.

I'd wait to test again until you miss your period. Good luck!
