Ive been taking Prozac 20mg a day for 4 months now. I took about 2 months for them to kick in, but the last few days ive been getting my shortness of breath attacks back again (this is what i originally took the Prozac for). Now does anyone have any idea why i would be getting this back again, when ive gone almost 2 months with no symptoms at all?

Assuming that your shortness of breath attacks are actually panic attacks, I'd say one episode in 2 months is rather good. Prozac is a good drug, but it's not perfect. For those taking it for anxiety/panic disorders, it can do a lot rid people of these symptoms the majority of the time, but once in awhile, you can still have them.

I'd say you're still in good shape. If they start becoming frequest again, then I'd go back to the doctor and talk about it. It could be you need a higher dose.
