I'm looking for information on good schools that offer the dental hygiene program preferably in Canada or near the US border. My girlfriend is currently a dental assistant and is looking for a program that is 18 months to two years and I'm trying to find a job that would situate us both near a good school that conducts the program in that sort of time frame. Any advice would be fantastic.

Here in NY most hygiene programs are now 4 years to be licensed. I am unsure what the other state's requirements are to take their state boards exams.
