More commonly known as FMD. Does anyone out there know much about this condition? My best friend was just diagnosed with an angiogram for an 85% blockage. Her carotid arteries resemble a beaded necklace. Now they are telling her that she should just take an aspirin a day and see what happens. Before the angiogram she was told she was a "stroke waiting to happen."
