I've been on zoloft for anxiety disorder for about four and half years, and finally decided to come off it. My problem is that i'm experiencing extreme withdrawal symptoms even though i slowly came off of it under a dr.'s care. Has anyone else here experience withdrawal effects? How long does it last? Is there anything i can do to ease the discomfort and emotional outbursts?

I thought zoloft wasn't addictive?

I haven't had to come off of my zoloft yet, but I know that I get these strange body highs if I miss a dose, so it doesn't surprise me that you're having a hard time coming off it. How high was your dose & how long has your doc been weaning you off it?
