Okay so I know a lot of you who have had Fibro and been pregnant told me that you felt great while pregnant. I am now 8 weeks along and feel like crap. Although some of the pain has subsided, I am still not sleeping well and the pregnancy is proving to be very difficult for me. I am more tired then I should be and my body is so sensitive to every change that it worries my friends and family. I go to the doctor and he says everything is healthy and I am just sensitive because of the fibro and a few other deseases I have. I am seriously debating quiting my job and staying home for the pregnancy.

Has anyone been this same boat as me? Or am I a loner here? Is there anything I can do to eleviate some of this fibro stress? Cause it is really taking a tole on me and I fear the baby is also affected by it.

Hi, I also had problems during pregnancy. My pain level lessened however I was exhausted and trouble sleeping and stress etc-same as you and very early on. I had a great doctor though and when I told him I thought I should quit my job because of these things he actually took me out on disability- stating my pregnancy was high risk. Talk to your doctor. You may be pleasantly surprised. I was a little further along than you when he did it and first he tried cutting my hours back but when that didn't work he took me out completley at 4 months along. This way you don't just quit and you also get paid from disability. Stress is not good in pregnancy. Also going this route, you may be able to go back to your job at some point after the baby if you wanted to. (I didn't) Good luck to you.

I hope it goes well for you. Also I forgot to say congratulations on your baby!!
Let me know how it goes with the doctor. When do you go back? When my doctor took me out, there was no waiting-he told me to go home, call my boss and tell him that under doctors orders I would not be returning. It was a HUGE relief. And he started the paperwork immediatley.
