I guess I should start with 6 months ago I got my 2nd or 3rd kidney stone and since I had them before I didn’t think much of it. Yes it hurt but I have had 2 children and 2 hard pregnancies . So I laid in bed for a week passed it ( with the help of pain killers) and went back to work. My first day back after only being there an hour I felt the worst pain yet my sister had to drive me home. Since then I have passed some where around 50-60 stones most are small but I have had to have one surgery to remove a stone.
In Oct. after being told by many Dr’s it was all in my head (even though I showed them the stones) I was diagnosed with Hypocitraturia and given potassium citrate. They told me take these pills 6x a day and do another Litholink test in a month.
The litholink test came back and now I have Hypocalciuria, my urine creatinine is high and my pH has gone up even higher. My pH was high before at 7.122 now it is 7.469.
Every thing I have looked up says I going into renal failure. The Dr that gave me the results said Just kept looking at me with sad eyes saying you are so young. Then he told me I needed to call a nephrologists quickly because he didn’t know how to help me. Has anyone gone though any of this? Please help! I’m so scared.
