On Sat. Sep. 26---24 days ago, I think I ate a hamberger that might have been tainted.
Two day later I started to feel ill and 2 days after that I was hit with neausea and very watery loose bowels. I still am not 100 % and it is 24 days later now. I can only eat about 1/2 what I normally would and have lost 8 lbs. I have gurgling in the stomach and the runners hit me during the night. I also have a tremendous amount of gas. Could this be salmonella????
The berger had lettuce and tomato on it too, known for past salmonella breakouts...HHHMMM
Not saying which berger place I ate at but it has a big brown bear for its mascot.....

Certainly could be that, could be something else. Did you go to the hospital and get tested?
If you're starting to get better, that's good, but I know that when your bowels get seriously messed up for any reason, it can take weeks, even months, for them to really straighten out again.
However, if you're not continuing to get better, and in particular if you are still losing weight, a doctor could prescribe medicines or diet to get you back together faster. After my dad had to take the super-scary antibiotics for post-surgical infection, they eventually had to give him narcotics so he could keep food in long enough to get some nutrients out of it. They really did.
Meanwhile, water and electrolytes are your very best friends, right?
