hello,

i'll be going to my doc soon and wanted to ask that when i bring up my concerns, could it be possible lymphoma?

here's my scoop, briefly:

i have a hx of chronic mono, 14 years ago onset.
for years after that i would get chronic low grade infections, and feelings like i had the flu extended for weeks at a time.

i have a lower than normal temperature most of the time, tend to run only mild fevers during cold infection and menses.

when sick my neck lymph nodes would get tender, but i'm not sure that's too unusual.

what worries me now is this:
difficulty breathing for over a year, in the lungs recent CT found a 6cm collapsed area

adenoids from recent MRI show blocking nasopharengeal airway 75%

breast lymph nodes in armpit area sore and enlarged for 2.5 months; sore throat chronic, blurry eyesight for past 3 weeks

generalized itchiness all over body for past 6 months

loss of apetite, lost 20 lbs over 6 months, regained 10 back recently

really, my functioning is at an all-time low from fatigue and aches and pains. i'm 29, have multiple issues that tend to get all lumped together by docs. although they are well-meaning and knowledgable, docs while working with me might be missing something, distracted by dx's of chronic fatigue syndrome, cerebral palsy, depression, anxiety, and possible lung disease (atelectasis, with follow up scan in a year).

thanks for giving any advice about whether i should be concerned if this is a lymphoma or possible other chronic infection, if my doc misses the boat with everything else going on (poor harried medicaid clinics!). i understand the ebv i got as a teen can affect people years later.

best, nik
