No Sallie, those cannot be lesions behind your eyes on an MRI. Sweetie, I know you are really nervous about this, but by now, your doctor has recieved the report. If there was something urgent, you would have recieved a phone call....so- no news is GOOD news!
Please put away the MRIs and do NOT try to interpret them. It took the radiologist 8+ years to learn how to read them, and get them right. Theres aboslutely NO WAY you can look at them and have a clue what you are seeing....if you had the report, some of us are capable of understanding the medical terminology which is spelled out there, but simply from a film, dont even try!;)
My husband, last week, had a CT of his chest. I looked at it, and thought I was looking at a "black spot" (he has a disease called silicosis) turns out I was looking at a shadow on the film caused by his rib. I should know better then to even bother. SO, I am asking you to be smart and put these things away until your appointment. If you are that scared, call the doctors office and ask the doctor to call you back. He can possibly fax the report to you (prior to your appt) and you can tell us what it says, then we can talk about it.
Relax Sallie. It will be fine.
