How long can this jaw/tooth/ear pain last? This has been going on 5 weeks now and I don't know what to do.
I went to the dentist and he could fing nothing wrong with my teeth on the left side. Now what?
Every morning I wake up with this pain in my left jaw. Sometimes it is up near the temple and sometimes down by the jaw.
Do you think that there is something that needs to be done or will nature just take its course?
Is this where most of your pain is?
I know these are a lot of questions but I am up against a wall now.

Hi, pain is a sure indication something is out of balance. Consider finding another doctor and the best of luck to you. Let us know how you are doing.

It sounds like you're grinding or clenching your teeth at night. I wear a splint and take a muscle relaxer before bed. Acupuncture has helped me a lot too. The Acupuncturist places needles along my jaw line and temple and my ear if it's hurting that day. The pain can wax and wane. Try to find a DDS who has expertise in TMJ. You may need to wear a splint too. Hope you find a good one.
