Moldova - The stimulator has helped my pain. But the last set of injections I got a month and a half ago took almost all my pain away . The stimulator works different for everyone so it wouldn't be right for me to say it doesn't work . For me it took most of the pain out of my hips /legs and some feet pain but the back pain it didn't help . Plus my feet and toe's were still hurting . But like I said everyone is different and it may help you alot.

Am I glad I had it implanted ? Yepper , it does help and any help is good . Right ? I have the battery in my right cheek , where my wallet goes . Some times if I sit on my right cheek my left leg goes numb , but thats all I feel . You won't even notice it back there after a couple months .. You should try it for pain . It can always be removed .

Moldova - I'm not leaving you guys unless I get kicked off here . Thanx for making me feel important and all but I'm just another spiney like you all , just having a little success with this pain . Yep I remember not so long ago I was complaining about pain 24/7 . whew about time I got relief . Thats why I say never give up , the easiest things a Dr. can try may work for pain . I never thought an injection would help me , I had dozens before this .. My Dr. must of hit the right spot eh ?

I hope the stim works for you ..What else can you do ? I think you will be happy with it once you heal up from the surgery to implant it. Its awsome being able to do stuff again . Yesterday I seen my neighbor walking his dogs so I took my buddy Max ( my dog) and jogged down the lane for about 100 yards , had to stop because the tightness in my lower back and my feet started to hurt , but didn't hurt once I stopped . Isn't that awsome ? Hope you get as much relief soon . I'll be checking in now and then.

I smiled reading your post - is this our Shawley??? This is so great, I just want this to continue for you for the rest of your life.
My only concern is that this thing may not help back pain and as much as my legs/feet bother me, my back is killing me.
That is why I question myself and my PM Dr: what is legs get relieve and back still will be a source of my biggest pain and i still will need to take PK - is this worth it? I ask too many questions, do I? :)

Are you going to get the surgery at the new level and get the stimulator for the area that already had the surgery? I was reading that the spinal stimulator can help with the Arachnoiditis pain? Hope for you this is true. Can you get the injections that Shawley got? Just keep positive that something is going to work for you soon. :)
