Hey,

Am I eating too much yogurt.. fruit..? Something's not agreeing with me. It's not diarrhea: I start off OK but then it "degenerates".

A typical day:
AM: Large apple, mandarin, brown toast.

Lunch: Sandwich (salmon, lots of dark lettuce, celery, tomatoes, carrot), grapefruit

Dinner: Sandwich (tuna, lots of dark lettuce, celery, tomatoes, carrot), mandarins

Later: Full tub plain yogurt, kiwi fruits, small minestrone.

If it's not diarrhea, what is it? If it's along the lines of feeling sick, gas, cramps, bloated stomach, etc. and happens after the yogurt, it might be lactose intolerance. Many people with lactose intolerance can handle small amounts of dairy daily, and some sources easier than others. Cheese and yogurt, for example, tend to be easier to get down than milk and cream. If you don't eat a lot of dairy but find yourself sick after a whole tub of yogurt, that may be your problem.

My mother just can't eat yogurt. She drinks milk, eats cottage cheese, but yogurt causes her dreadful stomach upset. We have no explanation, we're just happy she gets far fewer stomachaches since she figured this out.

Are you on any medications that could upset your stomach? Even ones that you've been taking for a while?

:) I feel fine after the full tub of yogurt at night, plus soup. Have to urinate at 5am, but apart from that, no problem.

I don't even know if it is yogurt.

In my first post, I didn't want to gross people out. It's not diarrhea, it's just not crap as it should be (kind of loose). Sorry!
