It very well could be TMJ, I am not a doctor or anything but I was very recently diagnosed with this condition. I also have a stiffness of the jaw like I have been chewing a very big wad of gum and my jaw is tired. You may want to seek out the help of a professional just to see if this is your problem. Good luck!

Definitely see a doctor about your jaw. It could be a number of things.

However, for those that have TMJ, a good release technique for easing discomfort is to squeeze the masseter muscle between your thumb and forefinger. Hold for 1-2 minutes.

It will increase mobility to your jaw and reduce pain.
