View Full Version : Morning upper back pain and hard time breathing

For the past 5 mornings I have had upper back pain and alittle difficulty breathing. When I need to take a deep breath, it feels like my breathing muscles have a spasm and I feel this jolt of pain. It's worse when I have to sneeze..so painful! I have no other problems otherwise, so I don't think it's lung cancer or anything..i could be wrong though. My guess is that I pulled one of my muscles while I was doing some arm exercises using weights...mabye my form was off. Anyway, ever since my pain started I have been just waiting for whatever I may have pulled to heal but it hasnt yet. I only have this pain early to late morning. Any advice and comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I would say if it is causing breathing problems you should see a doctor right away. They will see you in the ER right away with anything doing with breathing. My pain get's so severe that I have to go to the ER when the breathing gets difficult. It effects my breathing even from the lumbar region.
