Hi all, I am hoping some of you can calm me down a little as I have been so nervous and worried since I found out I was pregnant with the first IVF. I miscarried in May at 6 weeks, and that time my HCG did not double and never went above 400. This time my HCG was 975 at 4w4d, 2,341 at 4w7d, then 4,207 at 5w1d. My RE told me that blood work is no longer necessary and he will have me come in for the first u/s 2 weeks from today. Is it normal for them to stop HCG test this early at this level? I am worried about the fact that I do not see him at all the next 2 weeks, thinking about the history of miscarriage at 6 weeks. Any comments and your experiences would be really appreciated.

Congrats :D, and its very normal for RE's to stop B/W, my RE only did B/W at 4weeks (I had 240) and 4 weeks 2 days (mine was 563). I am now 9.5 weeks with twins. I pray that this pregnancy works out perfectly for you, your numbers are very strong. Keep us posted :angel:AimeeM

Hopefully this makes you feel better. My first #'s were 141 and 48 hrs later they were 450, I did not have any more test after that I am am now 32 weeks pregnant. Thank you all for your replies. You guys definitely made me feel better. I am sure you all know what it's like to go thru the treatments. It's been a really rough year for me and my husband, so I hope this pregnancy works out for us. Again, thank you, guys, and good luck to you.
