Can anxiety really cause all these aches and pains? Sometimes it seems like I hurt everywhere. It's kind of a nomadic pain, for a while it's my back or neck, then my legs or my arms, then my chest. It doesn't hurt to move or lift as a matter of fact when I'm active I usually feel better and can forget it for awhile. Of course the whole problem is that I can't believe anxiety can cause all this achiness and I "know" something else is wrong.
The aches and pains are my main problem along with heart palpitations.
Can a person really worry themself into feeling this way?

Hi, your post sounds so familiar. i used to get random travelling aches and pains, too. I think it is quite likely anxiety. anxiety can cause so many different symptoms for different people....you never know how it will manifest itself physically. and it changes, too. i know how nerve wracking it can be. keep busy! that worked for me, too.

Hi, for me anxiety makes me very tense. I think that causes the aches and pains. Your mind (or at least mine) can do horrible things to the body.
