my 16 year old son has anxiety and ocd(Thoughts) recently he was able to work for awhile his anxiety(social) got worse. one day i came home and he had stories in his head that just were not true any where from accidently shooting someone to being in a car wreck always feeling that where ever we went he had already done that, seen the same people before. an evaluation was done,we were told that severe depression could cause these thoughts. i can only hope that they are correct, he was stared on prozac and is doing better but i will always worry about what just happened, know one is really addressing these thoughts of his as being out of the ordinary.does this sound familar to any one

sjackson,
Sorry to hear about his thoughts, are they more along the lines of "What if I freaked out and had a car accident, what if I lost it and killed someone" thoughts, or does he in that moment actually believe this things took place? If it's the latter, I personally, who is not a professional, haven't encountered myself these type episodes, nor is a norm usually for anxiety. The deja vu feelings I would get, but that was a result of the medication I was on at the time.
