I thought i would start putting my xmas decoations up yesterday. My leg was burning like fire and my hip hurt but kept going until I was done decorating. I am in such a flare with low back, hip and leg pain I could cry. But if I cry I will just flare my costo up.
I think when your low back hurts your entire body hurts. I a using my tens unit, which I actually hate but at least I can move with it on. Also icing it.
Blue I need one of your blankets.
I am so worried about our dear friend Goldy. I just pray that everything turns out well. I see only 2 people reonded to my post about her besides you.
Hugs, Linda

hi linda,
you know those feelings i get? well i am telling you goldie is hangin in and doing the best she can. i am focusing on shrinking what i see in her lung. i know she comes here every day. i feel her. even if she does not write i know she is here.
for you a special blanket made by goldie and i. one of moonbeams, starlight and warm soft clouds.
now as a mom person i am gonna say, shame on you. you know better. was it worth it? if so, cool. if not, learn the lesson. i bet your house looks lovely. i like the lights all twinkly. now go take a hot bath, get on your heating pad, wrap up in our blanket and watch a movie. don't forget the popcorn.
love,

I know I should know better but we never learn. I knew I could count on you for a reply, you and Glojer are my my leaning tree. My back is better but the deep hip bone hurts like crazy. Trying to figure out whether it is coming from that tpr on the butt cheek or what? Probably arthur there also, I have it in my thorastic spine and neck.
I can flare from doing nothing so at least I accomplished something.
Have you talked to Tommy lately. Baby Max was just home and his eyes are definately Tommy's. Max will be one year old Dec. 18 th.
I am using those thermo care back wraps, oh they feel so good.
Love to you my friend, Linda

Hello ladies,
I have a few questions. I have recently been told I have fibromyalgia from my RA Dr. But I have also had a + ANA. I do have joint pain and muscle pain;I am extremely fatigued all the time. Is this a normal part of FM? I can bearly sleep because of the pain that wakes me from a dead sleep and after work I just seem to crash from fatigue. Will I be on Rx meds all my life or is there something I can do to help myself. I heard working out is good, but when I did go to the gym I was completely bed ridden for a few days. Getting out of bed is painful. It takes all energy to just reach the HOT shower.
Help! I dont understand what is happening and what I can do to better myself. I am almost to the point that I want to quit my job because of the physical demand.

hi girls and welcome hildie,
hildie all i can say from my own experience is exercise is your best friend. start slow, use a guide/coach/physical therapist till you find your balance. the balance that is healthful exercise and not a hard push that lands you in bed. i started out in a heated pool. i was so out of shape and very over weight. very, very. in three years i have lost more than 50pounds, actually when you add up the ups and downs along the way it is more like 90 lbs. anyway, now i can be active. i still have pain, sometimes huge pain. that does not go away. however, i am stronger so it is easier to get thru and bounch back from.
glojer old girl, kiss braveman for me. yucky barf, the dentist. you take care of you along the way please.
linda. when i went to care for my son i was not alone. tommy and cherrie were sitting there on my shoulders all the way in the car. tommy stayed with my son and cherrie watched over me. my son has blue eyes. i knew tommy was returning the favor and i am grateful. my son is home. kiss max for us all.
try that heat thingy on your hip. mine is singing opera at the moment. sympathy pain? giggle. hot baths. if it is ciatica try laying on your bed or better the floor on your tummy and lift up on your elbows. my pt showed me this for easing ciatica pain. now i am so good at it i go up on my hands, leaving my tummy and legs flat on the floor. always thougth i had to stretch it out. pt says, no way old woman, rest it, relax it. live and learn.
is max as cute as the images i see in my mind? of course he is!!

blue
