Hi,

This is a long story...Since about 2 years ago I started having congestion in my chest, it developed into a chronic rhinitis/sinitis, then I started having muscle cramping (mostly upper body), that later changed into numbing of my limbs. I became pregnant at that time and the muscle troubles (numbing) went away. About 3 months postpartum I started having the muscle cramping again, which - again - changed into a muscle numbness; Now hold your horses: that changed into muscle twitching (!!) first all over my body and then also in my toes. The twitching/weakness moved up to my hands/fingers!! I also have muscle tremmors and a terrible pressure in my head and feel like I wobble all the time, especially my head now...Terrible isn't it? SO many weird symptoms and no answers...:(
I went to a neurologist (among other specialists) and he said that there is nothing seriously wrong with me and that it could by my hormones, my EBV,...but didn't really know. Could it be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome???
PS: I can still go to the gym; the symptoms are the worse when I am at rest.

I can relate. I get the twitches, numbness and tingling. I also get a very strange thing, I feel like my body is shaking or vibrating. Every doctor I told this to looked at me like I was crazy!

They did a brain MRI and a cervical and thoracic MRI. Found a lot of herniated disks in my neck and arthritis so they just attribute it to that. I am the same as you, the symptoms are bad when at rest. When I'm moving around I don't notice as much.

[QUOTE=Rita27;3328945]I I also get a very strange thing, I feel like my body is shaking or vibrating. Every doctor I told this to looked at me like I was crazy!

I get exactly the same thing!! my muscles are also SHAKING AND VIBRATING!! I describe it as if there was a little earthquake - and none of the neurologists can believe me either! So what the heck is it?? Is it part of the CFiDs ( i don't even know I have it)? Or part of the EBV virus? Do you have EBV? And how long have you had these muscle problems?

I also feel like I wobble, including my head - like I am out of balance; also get a lot of pressure headaches (I have it almost all the time...)

I am glad I found someone else who has these crazy symptoms..
