I wasnt sure what forum this goes in so I came here..
For the past 4 wks I have been having slight numbness & tingling in both hand...Last night my entire left arm was like that..& stayed like that for 90 minutes.
I strech ALOT during the day & try to stay active..but cant figure out why this is happening?
Does anyone else have this? :(

Numbness and tingling like that could be something called Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. This is due to nerve compression and sometimes requires surgery to release the myelin sheaths in the hands and that then releases the nerves.

I would also advise you to get blood tests for thyroid function. If Carpel Tunnel Syndrome is not resolved by surgery, then there is normally a problem with the thryroid. Calcium deposits can form and cause pain and tingling. If thyroid function is corrected then the problem will disappear.

Also, get your calcium level checked. Numbness and tingling could be caused by what is known as tetany and is due to a low calcium level.
