Hi all, I am 6 months post-op, healing from a scar revision to the chin. Right now the area is still a little red, slightly puffy (but not hypertrophic), and lumpy, mostly at the ends of the incision. My surgeon said it can take a full year to mature and for things to flatten out. He used sutures that take like 6 months to dissolve so I guess I'm just about at that point.

If anyone could share their experience with incision lines and how their scars ended up after a year, that would be great.

I am using mederma and doing massage, but this darn thing still looks all bumpy :(
