The FDA's Pediatric Advisory Committee is currently meeting to probe possibly fatal side effects in some children using Serevent & Advair for Asthma. According to the FDA website, in the last year there have been 5 pediatric deaths that may be linked to the drugs. Something to think about when discussing possible courses of treatment with your child's pediatrician.
