I have been suffering with these symptoms and several others for at least two months now. I am barely able to get through the day anymore. i use to have good days but I have not had one for three weeks now and I just do not know what to do. I am unable to go to the Dr. due to financial reasons. My symptoms are, waves of nausea, a dizzy floating feeling (all the time never goes away), a severe headache that never completely goes away, I am very shakey ( my head hand hands), I get short of breath very easily, I pass out in the shower most of the time, I am so exausted all of the time I can not do anything, and when I attempt to do anything at I quickly begin to feel so bad that I must sit down or lay down to recover. If anyone knows what these symptoms mean, please tell me. I can't take this anymore.

No, me being pregnant is not possible. I did think of that about a month ago as my last pregnancy was very dificult so I took a pregnancy test. I am on the pill and have my periods regularly allthough they only last two days.
Thank you

take the money that you use to pay for internet access and go to the doctor. lol
just kidding, i don't know how much doctors visits cost but i know that it's ridiculous if you live in the united states. they charge you the equivalent of an arm and a leg

As I posted elswhere in response to this post the shortness of breath and passing out in the shower is dangerous and needs to be checked out immediately. WHat if this poster passes out in the shower and hits her head and bleeds to death from a severe laceration or breaks a bone falling in the shower and can't get out to crawl and call 911 for help. My complete suggestions can be found on the other board where she posted but yes this sounds serious to me and deserves attention. You are right though if this poster accesses the internet at home and can pay for internet access but can't manage to see a doc something is wrong.

hey i was only teasing, i barely read the post. i just saw the part about being sick and not knowing whats wrong but not having money to see a doc. then i thought, maybe this person gets free internet at a friends house or school or elsewhere.
still, thanks for agreeing, it's always nice to see i'm not the only one thinkin these kinda things!!

Hi,
I called the local clinic and the nurse seems to think it is either heart or lung related even though I am not even 30 yet. There is not a low income clinic here for general health. He said to go the emergency room.
The reason I can not go to the Dr. is this: We recently filed chapter 13 due to my loss of income and my husband lost his job due to Aluminum plant closure. At that time we lost all of our benifits. We also lost our house last month. We have to save some money even though we have very little so that we can rent a house. Our Dr. of 20 years sent us a letter stating that due to our Bankruptcy we must pay in cash in full at the time of the visit. There is no way we can afford a monthly Dr. payment.
I do now that I have always had low blood pressure but it has never caused a problem.

Just wanted to know if you ever got any medical attention. If you are still having problems with docs because of financial conditions, I recommend you go to your nearest ER.

Hi,
I finally was able to go to the Doctor. My resting heart rate was over 135 and I was on the verge of having a stroke. My thyroid is enlarged and my Doctor is pretty sure it is overactive. They are running blood tests which will be back on Monday. In the meen time he put me on Beta Blockers to lower my heart rate. He is not sure if I have a tumor or if it just decided to produce too much hormone.
I was actually able to go to my sons wrestling practice yesterday and not feel like I wanted to die. I woke up this morning for the first time in years I do not feel like I ran a marathon in my sleep. I still shake and am jittery but when they figure out what they have to do to my thyroid and get me on medication for that, those symptoms should resolve.
Thank you for all of your advice and concern. I will keep you all posted.
Melody

melody19: i have the same problems as you exactly, and its due to a drop in blood pressure that causes mine, also my muscles hurt alot with cronic fatiue. i have been stidying addisons disease, cause of the drop in blood pressure upon standing and am going to see an edo. to confern or rule out. i would suggest to do the same if it is the blood pressure dropping that you find, because for me its only gotten worse, because ive let it go on and also didnt know it was a drop in blood pressure. good luck. deby
