Why? Are you worried about getting cancer from x-rays?

Yes, this can happen, it did to me. I was treated for acne using strong x-ray treatment with no lead apron, etc. As a result in later years I had skin cancer on my face and arm that was in the path of rays as well as thyroid damage. A well known dermatologist told me I had radiation damage to my face but not radiation sickness. As a result of the x-ray treatments I reached almost maximum rads of radiation on my face. It is risky to have more x-ray on the same area.
Again, YES, it can happen when radiation is used too much and too often. Hmmm...I had x-ray treatment back in the early 1950's. Strange it has taken the medical profession this long to recognize the danger of too much radiation. mardebjs 11-29-2007, 11:21 PM
Reason I bring it up is the release of a new study. Check the news.
