Hi out there,
i'm kind of worried right now. i was untangling Christmas lights from last years outdoor decorations (so they had some dirt on them) and then i went and scratched my face, catching a pimple on the way, i also have eczema all over my hands. i thought nothing of it until 30 mins latter when my throat started to feel tighter and in got a slight sensitivity in my jaw. i haven't had a shot since I was 11 or 12 and i'm 20 now. Should i be worried? would getting the shot now prevent any possibility (if i did contract it) of getting rid of or nullifying the bacteria? Please let me know soon. i'm quite concerned, and my Dr isn't in till tomorrow.

I'm sure you're fine. Tetanus is exceedingly hard to contract and would take days to show symptoms.
