just call around to the orthos who are in your ins network til you find one that does spinal surgeries.you do want a ortho who does ALOT of spinal surgeries as their speciality.unfortunetly you kind of have to seek them out.they don;t always state any actual specialties in their titles, you know what i mean?if you go to any type of a 'group' type practice, that is usually the best way to go since they will hook you up with the particular ortho who is the most trained in your specific issue.the ortho i see for my knee is in a huge group practice with about 12 other orthos who all tend to specialize in certain types of surgeries.this would be probably the best way to get the best ,most experienced type of ortho for your particular issue.good luck with this and please keep me posted as how things go,K?
