Okay, I decided to start a new thread since my last one was getting really long. I didn't want to title it "Feeling Blue Part 2" cuz it's Friday, and I am feeling fine!! I thought TGIF was much more appropriate on a Friday afternoon. ;)

Now to my replies...

Princess, I know what you mean about keeping DH on a need to know basis w/ IF. That's exactly the approach I take w/ BF. If he doesn't ask, and he doesn't need to know, then I don't tell him. Otherwise, I think he gets overwhelmed w/ my emotions and doesn't know what to do. It seems to work for us. Believe it or not, I haven't started studying for my finals yet. I'm too busy trying to finish up all my last minute projects. It's really crazy, cuz I didn't even slack off - there is just THAT much work. It's okay though, it's for a good cause. :) Make sure you have a great weekend (especially at that party tomorrow!! ;)). Take care, sister!

Kari, thanks for the weekend wishes!! Sending some right back to you!!! OH YEAH!!! Tomorrow is DECEMBER!! One month closer to IVF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for reminding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D Sending you some more thick lining dust! ;)

LOL, I'm so glad that you don't think I'm evil for keeping DH on a need to know basis. When I was writing that, I was worried that someone would think I was either horrible, or that DH is unsupportive. But you said it best, sometimes, for them our feelings are overwhelming to them and they don't knwo how to react.
I know you're not a slacker--- so that must be an INSANE amount of work!!! Wow! Can imagine if you did slack? You'd be buried....but thankfully, you're organized, focuses and a good worker. Oh wow, you're going to be a SuperMom, I just know it!! Well, get some studying done this weekend, but don't stress, dearest! :D
I hope you have a wonderful, restful weekend! I'll do my best to have fun at the party---I'm not going to give the crazy woman the power to ruin my night out! :D Not to beep my own horn, but I deserve more than that!
Talk/write to you soon! :D

Princess, I don't think you're cruel at all. Quite the opposite. For my BF and your DH, it's more like shielding them from all the details and emotions that we deal w/. At least, that's how I think of it! ;)

I was thinking the same thing about the amount of schoolwork I have - thank God I didn't slack off!! And you are definitely not tooting your horn (and if you are, who cares?! we support each other here). You are right though, you definitely deserve better than some hussie ruining your night. So make sure you have a good time tomorrow!!

Mapia, I get excited every time I hear we will be cycling soon. I absolutely positively cannot WAIT to get started w/ my cycle and get pg already!!!!! It's so nice to know we are all one month closer to our goals. You have a great weekend too sweetie.

Baby dust to us all!

Hallelujia it is raining in the desert!!!! I am so happy! I love it! And it isn't just a little sprinkle it is RAINING! And it is COLD! I actually have a hoody sweatshirt on! So much fun! Girls I'm right there with you TGIF it's been a very long week I've been having to work at a different Quarry all week and having to drive an hour one way... so I'm tired and I get off work 2 hours later than I normally do when I work 20 minutes from home. So needless to say it's dark when I get off work and then I have to drive home in the dark on a crooked highway. But I'm glad I get the weekend to recoop.....

Genny I totally keep DH in the dark unless he needs to know something cause he can't handle the stress of my emmotional ups and downs. And then he might take my pee sticks away. LOL I'd go crazy without them. Well you ladies take it easy.

Yay - I am so glad the week is almost over (for me I'll be saying TGIS - since I work Saturdays :)) too!!!

Brandi - It sounds like you have had a really long week! I hope you're able to relax and put your feet up this weekend!!

Kari - I'll be thinking of you this weekend and upcoming week - I'm sure your lining is getting thicker by the minute!!!! I'm so excited that your ET is coming up!!!

Holly - Good luck with all of your projects and your finals!!! When will your finals be done with?

Mapia - I hope you and DH have a wonderful weekend!!! (Maybe you can venture out and check out a Chinese restaurant - lol!)

Princess - I'm the same way with DH - I do talk to him, but I think he starts to get grouchy when I overwhelm him with all this IF stuff. I'm so glad I have all of you to talk to!!! I hope you have a GREAT time at the party tomorrow - I'll be on edge waiting to hear about it!!!

I am getting excited for all of us with our cycles coming up in the near future!! This is going to be such a lucky year for us and we'll be celebrating soon!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Girls! How is everyone doing? I had a really great weekend and wanted to share w/ my sisters. Yesterday was the baby shower that you all made me not feel guilty about skipping, and it also happened to be my closest friend's birthday. So my other closest friend and I took her out to dinner and we had a really great time! We were gone for hours. Then today, BF and I went to a roller skating party for one of our friend's children, and we both got on skates for the first time in YEARS. I think we had more fun than some of the kids. :D And I still managed to get a good amount of homework done in between, though I didn't get much sleep...I'm practicing for when I have children. :D;)

Kari, good luck at your appt tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. I just know that your lining is nice and thick.

Brandi, hope your cycle is going well and that you managed to relax this weekend after a long hard week.

Kelley, thanks for the luck! My finals will be done 12/12. I think you are right that we will all be celebrating in 2008.

CBB, your neverending support is so touching. Thank you so much. I am really glad that your car accident was not serious and you and the babies are okay.

Charlene, well the weekend is almost over for all of us now. But, you do have your vacation coming up, and many of us have our upcoming cycles to look forward to as well. Hope you are doing well sweetie!!

Ruby, don't forget you are one month closer to IVF as well! Both our bfps are getting closer, my friend. I know you have been really busy lately, and I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I miss you too!!!

Holly, that is SO cool you and DH got up on roller skates! What a blast! I love doing fun stuff like that... like bowling, I just love going bowling! Not that I'm any good, but I really have a blast. I can't wait to have kids so I have a great excuse to go do those fun things! :) Well sounds like you and your friends had a real nice time dining and celebrating her birthday! You deserved a fun night out on the town! Good for you! Hope you have a great night!

Hi Holly

It sounds as though your weekend was a blast! It must have been so much fun hanging out with your girlfriends. Seems like ages since I did anything like that! As for the rollerskating, I think you are very brave. I can't believe you still managed to fit some study time in - you really are going to be a SUPERMOM!!!

I had a nice weekend too though it went by far too quickly. Went to DH's work do on Saturday night. A couple of the other wives there were PG and moaning about how sick and tired they are. I wanted to tell them that there m/s is nothing compared to the pain of IF and that I would gladly trade places with them.....grrrr! Nevermind, our time IS coming and like you said we are all one month closer to starting our cycles - yay!!!

Take care sweetie.

Hi Holly

Sounds like you had a wonderful w/e. I agree with Ruby....roller skating...wow you are brave. And still managed to study too.
So firstly just wanted to wish you all the best of luck for your finals...though i am sure you ll do brilliantly.
I think it s great that you keep yourself so busy....this will help time go by...infact we re already in Dec.....the 12th will be here before you know ....Xmas will be next ...than it would be so close to your iVF cycle.

Well hope you have a good week...make sure you rest and eat well i always thought that those facts helped mw when i was studying.

Take care

Kari, I know what you mean!! BF and I can't wait to have kids so we can take them out and do all sorts of fun things w/ them! I'm telling you, BF is the absolute BIGGEST kid, he is so much fun. :D All the kids at the party were chasing him around the rink, it was so funny. I swear, I wouldn't have had half as much fun if he wasn't there. I do have a sore bottom today from falling so many times, but it is more than worth it. We really had a blast. Hope your appt is going well today sweetie.

Hi Ruby, I don't get to go out w/ my friends as often as I would like either, but we really make an effort on our birthdays. We used to always go to the bar and party on birthdays, but now that we're a little older, it's not as fun as it used to be. So, we go out to eat and always have a nice time. I'm sorry you had to listen to those pg women complain about how bad they were feeling. Like you, I would give anything to feel bad like that. ;) Don't worry, our time IS coming. And we will be so much more appreciative when it does.

Amy!! How are you?? Thanks for the luck w/ the finals and the advice on the studying. One thing I always short myself on is rest, but I will try to get some good sleep in this week. You are right, time is flying, and I am loving it!! :D:D Just can't wait to get started already...So, how is everything w/ you? Is the new house ready yet? How far along are you now?

Holly, I'm so glad you had such a wonderful weekend. You deserve it so much; you are a constant source of warmth and support for all of us...I'm so happy you're happy!! BF sounds so GREAT!!!! He will be a wonderful father---and he will be soon!! I admire you for being so adventurous and skating!!! :D:D hen I skate, I put on skates, and sit on a bench with a cup of hot choclate ;)
Yo'ure right, the bar isn't as fun as it used to be. Doing something fun oriented, or something even child oriented is so much more fun!! :D I like Disney movies :D And dinner with friends sounds so nice, a chance just to sit a catch up!
Can you believe we're already a solid three days into December?? Your cycle is coming up so fast I can't believe it!! I really do believe that this one is THE one!!

Holly, that is awesome your DH is a big kid too. I just love it when DH acts like a goofball. It really makes me smile. So here's a cute story... when we were in Vegas last weekend, we wake up at 7am cause our neighbors in the hotel have a little baby that is just screaming and crying. Lasted for like 30 minutes. Well a few hrs later when we went out in the hallway, the kid (who was prob like 1 1/2) and his mom were standing there. And DH leans from his hips all the way down to eye level with the kid and says with the cutest voice "hey, thanks for the wake up call this morning! :) ". It was SO cute! The kid was looking at him like YIKES! And the mom was like I'm so sorry! And we were just laughing and telling her it was totally no big deal, we didn't mind. I just thought it was cute how DH talked to the little kid.

Mapia, let me tell you...I am not brave, but you are smart. LOL My body is SUPER sore today from all the falling I did on those skates. I'm still glad we did it though, we both really had a blast!! Maybe I will hit up the pool at the gym tonight...it's indoor & heated, so I know it will be heaven on my sore body!! I hope it's open swimming today. *fingers crossed* How are you doing today?

Princess, you're so funny...when you skate, you put the skates on and sit on a bench. LOL You probably pinch your cheeks too so they are nice and rosy and you look like you just got done skating miles and miles, don't you? ;) I really am happy that we're getting into December already. I can't wait to get started w/ my cycle and get my bfp. And I really can't wait for all my IF sisters also waiting to cycle to get going and get their bfps right along w/ me. We are due!!!!

Kari, that is such a funny story about your DH. I bet he is a lot of fun to be around, he sounds like he has a great sense of humor. I know you can't wait to give him lots of babies, and I am so excited about your upcoming transfer. Just think, when this works, you will have an in-home wake up call every single day!! ;)

LOL You girls always make me laugh so hard!! I don't know how you do it!! Holly, thats a good idea abotu pinching my cheeks so they looks as if Ive been doin gmore than reading a mamgzine and listenign to the music while everyone else skates.
How are you feeling today? Still very sore? I hope you managed to get a hot bath and a long body massage (and BD! ;)) from BF last night!
I'm still in shock! I can't believe we're already into December! The New Year is in a few weeks and along with it, you IVF cycle and BFP!! I KNOW that you will get your BFP from this one, I just have a feeling. :D I know that 2008 will be a big year for us IF sisters, full of BFPs, healthy pregnancies and safe births! :D
Hope you're having a good day and not workign too hard!!
