Is cognitive training aka CBT and especially the thought countering exercise called the TEA form. Use of this exercise helps you retrain your brain's pathways so that you automatically think more rationally over time. It took a while for the new way of thinking to kick in but once it does you have a foundation of rational thought to build on and they keep your anxiety and depression under control.
