dmurrt 11-30-2007, 05:44 PM what natural foods can help take some of the symtons of ms away? Duncanguy 12-02-2007, 11:19 PM About a year ago a young lady told me her aunt developed MS and was quickly wheelchair fodder. This young lady searched and found info that indicated MS to be a Northern Climatee disease.(Short daylight, she figured) She got her aunt to take massive doses of vitamin D. Shortly, her aunt was out of the wheelchair and getting around fine. This is meant only as a hint if you are a Northerner. Otherwise, some other food supplement correcting a local vitamin/mineral shortage should be considered. An international question doesn't work well. Del hollymbk 01-22-2008, 01:31 PM I don't have MS and have never tried this diet. There is a diet developed by Ashton F. Embry called the BBD or the Best Bet Diet. It was developed for people with MS and I have read that it may help some people. People get an ELISA test and avoid the foods of which they are allergic, then they avoid: all dairy gluten legumes limit eggs processed sugar and margarine limit to 15grams saturated fat per day Again, I have no experience with this, I only have read about it.:) |
