Just wondering if anyone else has a major fibro flare during your period. I do. I was just wondering if I'm the only one, or if this is common.

YES! Every single month like clockwork! It starts right before my period. I start with that awful burning pain all over my body that nothing helps and then move on to all the other craziness! Every month I consider a hysterectomy!

Do you work? I do, and I end up calling in sick at least once a month just because I can't handle the fibro flare during my period. I can't even get out of bed.

No, I don't work outside of the home but have a 5 year old who does not take kindly to me staying in bed.

someone on another board i read says that wild yam (a natural supplement thing) has helped her hugely with this.

i also have big trouble once a month my overies just kill me not to mention bloating i hate that time of the month. i to have considered getting it all removed, but i think of my husband, its hard enough not playing now but i worry i wont want to full stop if i do that ...
