I got a new splint and its helped in the fact that it made me have less pain, however i still have a lopsided jaw. I get scrunches in my cheeks and headaches. I do also feel dizzy should i go bck in a month and ask for an NTI instead?

Great that you are in less pain.
What kind of splint is it?
There seems to be two ways to go; either a stabilization or a repositioning splint. I know more than I want about all this stuff unfortunately.
I wear a stabilization splint (Michigan or Tanner) but I am still getting a click so I'm thinking I may need a repositioning splint to move my jaw forward to 'recapture' the disc.
I also wore an NTI earlier in my TMD journey. Its designed for people who grind when sleeping and will prevent your jaw muscles from overworking but if your problem is the way your teeth meet, the 'occlusion', then it's not going to do the business.
The other day the dentist asked me to move my jaw forward and open and close and there was no clicking so I think I am going to have to go down this road and get a repositioning splint.
