Jam, that is great news. Your chances are so much higher with ICSI, and so many girls are starting cycles in Jan/Feb so you will have plenty of company.
Good Luck I really hope this brings you a BFP :angel:AImeeM

Hi Jam,

I'm new to the board and i'll be one of the January IVF girls. Sorry about your failed IUI's. At least you now have a set plan and can look forward to a new approach in just a month or so. Plus, this month will go by soooo fast. I have a feeling that 2008 is going to be great year for all of us!

hey everyone,

how are you all?
I hope you have had a fab weekend you deserve it! all of you.
I have got my life a bit more together snce i last posted.

Im over the tension headaches and back to work after 3 weeks. my throat infection is gone and the prostap didnt leave me feeling up or down which is fantastic as i usually suffer from migranes and any meds usually leave me feeling crap.

I had put a lot on hold because of if and the treatment, not booking holidays too far in advance, not going for other jobs, not going out, genrally not living.

Now things are diffrent a baby is still my main priority but i have realised that putting my life on hold and not enjoying it is ot helping me get to my goal its the one thing in my life i cant control so i may as well make the most of the things i can.

So im off to tunisia in feb for a week, gran canaria in june for two,i was out for the first time in months last night and had a ball! and ive just applied for a job im going to love and i got it!!!:D

so all is on the up for me and im so extremeley positive about this round of icsi its untrue.

will, as always keep you posted, let me know how you all go.

xx

Hi Jam well I moved back to Greece in Aug. with DH.We have gotten settled in now and did 1 round of IUI in Oct with BFN.Well it really got me down and for awhile and deceided not to go another round until after the New Year.RE said we can only do 1 more IUI and then he says we should go onto to IVF which scared me to death but hey we will do anything to have a child right now so if IVF is the route then so be it.Well hope you are having a nice evening it was great hearing from you.Take care.

thanks everyone for all the positive vibes your sending my way!
god most of the time i need it!

had a counciling session yesterday and i felt allmost lighter after it!
so if anyone is finding it building and tough and need a chat with someone who is not emotionally attached to the situation dont rule it out.

she has asked me to keep a journal and for me and dh to write how we feel when we feel like it as something about writting is thereputic! thats how i get so much from our chats!!!

hope everyone is doing well spk soon xx

Hi Jam! Sounds like you are doing so well! And I totally agree with writing things out when the emotions start to take over... it is a great release, that is for sure! Hope all continues well for you!

I'm really glad you're getting face to face help with this! Writing things is great----especially if it's in a place that nobody will see and you don't have to be polite and say the "right thing" all the time. I'm praying for your miracle!

Hi Jam,

I'm happy that you were able to meet with someone to talk. I really do think that it is such a helpful thing! And writing down your feelings sounds like a great idea too. Especially when you can be totally honest and write down exactly how you feel.

I hope you're having a good day!!
