Hello Fibro Community:
My fabulous Dr. here in California has been a real advocate for Fibro/chronic
pain/migraine patients. She put me on Cymbalta in 2006. Just added Provigil
(200mg./day).
For me...this has een a godsend:angel:
It has helped the awfull fibro-fog. That's been the most important advantage
for me on these two meds., as well as more focusing power, stamina and
general well-being.
And while Provigil (I don't believe) has been "dedicated" as RX for fibro/
chronic pain patients, I believe that we will soon see evidence in Pharma
world of how well this works and will be used as standard therapeutic
Rx. for this.
Blood panels came out fine. No liver alarms, etc.
I do take Vitamin D, complete B's and other supplements to aid my
well being and immunity levels.
Five year (Level IV Amazon) Breast Cancer SURVIVOR/ CELEBRATING
TODAY!
and yes....we an do this together.
Be mindful, be patient, go slow
and demand gentle hugs.
