I am going to call my doctor in the morning but has anyone had very scary dreams to the point that they wake up screaming and flailing??

No, I haven't experienced anything like that and I've been taking it for about 9 months now. Have you just started taking the oxy since surgery? If not, have you started any additional new meds since surgery?

Diet,
After my fusion last year, I was taking percocet's 10mg 2 every 4 hours. I had nightmares the first few weeks I was home. They were quite scary and vivid, Steven King kind of dreams. I called the doc and they said that it could be a side effect to the med ( even though I had taken it before, and this never happened ). Give your doc a call, maybe they can switch your med's or shed some light on this for you. Welcome home!! Glad things went well for you.

Thank you for responding. I am taking the oxy and 10-325 mg percocet. Maybe it is the amount of meds I am on and it didn't dawn on me that it could be a mixture of medications.
Hope you are doing a little better.
