Hey there,
I have been diagnosed with TMJ with myofacial pain syndrome and trigger points in the trapezius area. I have plugged ears at times and have tingly temples, ears, etc.
Yesterday I was sitting in a restaurant with my husband and some friends and all of a sudden the room started spinning and I hear like a roaring or buzzing sound and it lasted about 15 seconds and then it went away. After it was over, I was trembling in fear and also sweaty. It scared me so much that I am concerned about having a stroke or something. Has ANYONE had this before ever? Could this be TMJ? I also have thyroid disorder and also had a hysterectomy about 3 years ago.
I clench almost constantly and am having trouble stopping it and relaxing due to the symptoms. Please someone help me out!
Thanks in advance and God bless!

This sounds like TMJ-related symptoms. I have had periods of increased dizziness usually accompanied by increased ringing in the ears. Earlier this triggered a panic attack because I didn't know what was happening.
You might also want to get checked out by an ENT for Meniere's Disease - Meniere's symptoms are typically more episodic - usually a buildup that crescendo's in an intense vertigo attack, roaring in the ears and nausea - followed by intense fatigue.
