I have recently lost 41 pounds. I am on toprol and chlorthalidone for high blood pressure and heart palpitations. lately my heart has been going crazy. Could my doseage be to high since my weight lose?

Definitely, yes! Do check with your doctor as your dose may need to be adjusted.
It is also possible that you've developed some side effects...I don't think that's the case given your 41 # (CONGRATULATIONS!!!) weight loss. But it may be of benefit to other readers.
