I was on the Nuva Ring for a few months. I didn't have those symptoms that you are speaking of, but I started getting really bad headaches and so I stopped using it.

I've been on it for years and I really love it...
I haven't had any problems with depression or anything like that ...there could be other things that I attribute to a cold or my allergies... but I'm not sure.
All birth control acts differently on everyone though. Just gotta find the right one.

I have been on the ring for over a year. I have had no problems but I searched the internet to do some reasearch on it and I read about a lot of women having problems with there mood and feeling depressed. When they stopped the ring they felt like themselves again. However these side effects might go away, they recomended that you stay on it for about three months and if they don't go away then try something else. Good luck with everything, search around a bit there is a lot of info out there! :)

If you smoke or have any risk factors at all for clotting do not use it! Even if you are under 35. They have recently updated their risks/precautions.
I am 29, a light smoker, and was in awsome shape and health and had a Pulmonary embolism due to the ring. There are a bunch of law suits against it and the patch due to these risks. You are safer if you are under 25 but read the new prescribing info. The risk jumps quite a bit if you are over 25.

I've been on it a little shorter than you, and i did have a few problems with my emotions, exercising helps a little with that, but other than that i haven't had anything else symptom wise...

Wow...that's creepy. I have issues with a rapid heart beat that I thought were related to my high blood pressure... but I wonder now if maybe its the ring.
Hope you're doing better now.
