sometimes if i look down at the left side of my chest it moves up and down in rhythm with my heartbeat. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it normal?

Yes, it's normal for a lot of people. especially if they are thin. But even heavier folks can see the pulsing of their heart.

This happens to me all the time. I can especially see it in my stomach and lower abdomin. It freaks me out sometimes. I usually begin to think, OH MY GOSH< something is wrong. But my mom says it's normal to have that, especially in thin people, which I am. You notice it more when you are nervous too.

i am very skinny. i can see and feel it beating all the way down my stomach. usually when i am full or just finished eating i can hardly see it though hehe
