The job I do is opening mail with a machine and I take the papers out of the envelopes. A few hours into my job my nose starts itching and by the end of the night it looks like I have cold (like from blowing my nose too much). Is there anything to take to calm this while I work. I look so red and dried out by the time I leave that I feel embarrased. I have no other problem with any paper items and as far as I know I do not have any allergies. Some one please help me. Is there any lotions, creams or pills to be used? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you may have a tree allergy. When the machine cuts the envelopes open it is releasing little particles of paper into the air. If those particles land on your hands, you may be helping to aggravate your skin.
I am allergic to just about every tree and I am fine around wooden products until something is done to release little particles. For example if I sharpen a wooden pencil, I cannot touch the shavings, if I put a piece of wooden furniture together, I cannot touch my face or arms or legs without washing my hands.
